Job description
Conduct patient assessments, clinical examinations, and obstetric evaluations. Assist in managing patients admitted to the Labour Room. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, vital signs, and labour progress. Assist consultants with normal deliveries and obstetric procedures. Manage Labour Room patients and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies. Assist in the initial management of high-risk pregnancies and obstetric complications under consultant supervision. Review laboratory investigations, ultrasound reports, and fetal monitoring findings. Maintain accurate, timely, duly signed, and stamped clinical documentation according to hospital policies and patient-safety standards. Requirements & Qualifications: MBBS from a recognized medical institution. Valid PMDC registration/license. 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a Labour Room. Good knowledge of labour management and normal delivery assistance. Knowledge of maternal and fetal monitoring and obstetric emergencies. Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge. Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills
