-Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
-Regularly assess the facility to identify and reduce infection risks
-Train staff on proper infection control techniques and protocols
-Monitor and report on the incidence and trends of infections
-Investigate and respond to reports of infections
-Stay up-to-date with current infection control practices and regulations
Qualification:
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing
Certification:
-Infection Control (CIC)
License:
-Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience:
-At least 2 years of experience in infection control in a healthcare setting
Skills:
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
-experience in staff education and training;
-proficiency in data analysis and reporting; strong knowledge of infection control regulations and standards
