Job description
Last Date: 31 October 2026 -Manage daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of the Pharmacy Supervisor. -Ensure the quality and proper procurement of medicines, antibiotics, chemicals, biological products, and other pharmaceutical preparations. -Review prescriptions, monitor medication use, identify potential drug interactions, and support patient safety. -Control the dispensing of medicines and ensure compliance with hospital formulary policies. -Maintain accurate records of narcotic medicines and other pharmaceutical inventory. -Supervise pharmacy assistants and ensure proper stock rotation using the FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) method. -Coordinate with doctors regarding medication doses and support appropriate patient care. -Provide patient counseling and maintain pharmacy registers, worksheets, files, and dispensing records. -Handle shift handovers, medicine charging, cash reconciliation, petty cash, and related administrative tasks. -Stay updated on pharmaceutical developments and apply strong drug knowledge, communication, and computer skills. -Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm-D, valid Pharmacy Council registration, a relevant short course, and at least two years of work experience
